What are the requirements for my cat to board at No Dogs Allowed? * We need by state law a current record for proof of rabies, possibility a current (no older then 20 days) health certificate if the cat shows chronic sneezing, runny eyes or coughing at all times do to allergy related issues and explain any medical problems the kitty might have from your veterinarian. You can bring it with you at the time of check-in or you can have it faxed to us at (860) 822-9251 but it must be prior or at check-in. * All cats must be spayed or neutered * Cats with medical problems must come with written instructions, medications and/or food that will last for the duration of their stay from either the owner or veterinarian as well as direct contact information (like cell phone) from the owner and the veterinarian who is overseeing your cat's care for if we have questions or a situation. * All cats must be flea free and will be inspected with owner present at check-in. (Please see flea policy question) * All cats who have claws will be clipped at check-in to ensure safety to the staff.
What are your hours of operation? We are open by appointment only for check-in but in general we are pretty flexible with our time except please call ahead before coming to pick-up your cat(s) to ensure we are available if you are planning to be there after 4 pm. If you pick up your cat(s) before 1 pm we will not charge you for that day. We are closed on most major holidays.
What happens if my cat has fleas or if you find fleas at check-in? If we find fleas on your cat(s) we will give the cat(s) a flea bath and apply Advantage with a $50.00 charge. NO EXCEPTIONS. As a precaution they will stay one night in our grooming area to protect the rest of the boarders and to have the Advantage treatment set in. We will wash all bedding you provided for your cat(s) including what's in the carrier.

Please be patient with us as we don't always answer our phone and sometimes don't check the answering machine until the end of the day or first thing in the morning. If we are able to answer the phone we can make the appointment for you but most of the time especially during the hours of 9am to 5pm we will be busy with our clients and can't always answer the phone. Please leave a message and the best time to call you so we can return your call to set up an appointment.
What are your prices for boarding my cat(s)? The prices vary depending on the number of cat(s) and amount of space your looking to take for your cat(s) as it's adjustable. PRICE LIST 2009 (subject to change without notice)

We are located on 118 West Main Street, Baltic (Sprauge) Connecticut. Directions: From I-395 take RT 2 (Hartford) Exit 81. Follow RT 2 west to Exit 25 (RT 32 Willimantic/Franklin) take a right at ramp. After going through 2 lights go about 1.5 miles then take the first road on your right Baltic Road. Go to the end of this road until you are at a T-intersection (about 2 miles) then take a right on to RT 207. Go about 2 miles until you see the bank on your right. We are about 2 block lengths on the right. You will see the entrance sign for the shop. It's in a large mill so follow the signs to the shop. We are at the far end of the mill. The entrance is on the side of the building with glass doors.
